The Lawson Group Loss Control Coordinator Academy provides leadership, management, and technical training to individuals responsible for employee health and safety at member companies. The goal of the Academy is to educate onsite safety leads on how to effectively reduce the number of workers’ compensation claims as well as control claim costs through our Focused Loss Control programs.
Completion of the Academy requires onsite sessions at The Lawson Group. Coordinators’ companies must remain members of their respective Trust for the duration of their participation in the Academy.
Session 1: Safety Leadership, Slip, Trip & Fall Prevention
Session 2: Strain & Sprain Prevention, Caught-In & Struck-By Prevention, Safety Administration
Due to the recently updated CDC guidance, we will not be requiring masks for attendees who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. For those not vaccinated, we will still be requiring you to wear a mask when inside the building.
We will still have a limited class size of 8 with spacing between desks. If you are not feeling well we will ask that you reschedule.
